Today in History – July 23
On this day, several decades ago in 1937, Orson Welles’ first radio show debuted! He was only 22 years old at the time. He grew to be so good at narrating on radio that his version of H. G. Wells’ “War of the Worlds” convinced listeners in New Jersey that they were under attack by Martians! Check out more on his influences here.
