Zombies, War and Historical Reenactments

No, that’s not  a real trailer. That is, however, clips from the audio book. The book is being adapted currently.

One thing that genre books has been getting is a complete revamp (and no, we’re not talking about Stephenie Meyer) .

With the advent of New York Times Best Seller hits like World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War, with influences from actual war texts.

A hugely researched novel, Brooks based a lot of the diary entries on political, social and cultural histories.

The question has come up, though, with so many mainstream “fantasy/horror/sci-fi” trades lately – is genre subsuming the literature section itself?
